A nonprofit tutoring program called “Help On the Go” partnering with the Salvation Army started as a way of helping fellow students impacted by school closures that began in March 2020 when more than 6 million students all over the state of California shifted to online instruction in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion
and the will to help others.
