Simultaneously, our team is dedicated to establishing Monarch butterfly habitats by planting milkweed. Western Monarch populations face severe threats from habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change, which has led to a dramatic decline. These threats include the loss of milkweed, destruction of overwintering trees, and extreme weather events.
